CROMBIE Brett

My principal place of residence is in the Northern/Pukerua ki te Raki Ward area.

I'm Brett Crombie and along with representing your concerns and bringing them to the council table, I'll focus on three areas:

Financial responsibility - Porirua's recent and forecast rate rises are alarming. This election is your chance to vote for councillors who view this as a real issue for ratepayers and residents. As a Chartered Accountant I'll put the tough questions to council surrounding expenditure and help avoid the frivolous spend we've seen in recent years.

Focus on core council infrastructure and services - Porirua City Council has been side-tracked by expensive rebrands and self-promotion. I'll redirect the council focus to core functions such as providing robust roading, water and waste services.

Fresh energy and ideas - Porirua should be the best place in the country to raise a family, to start a business or to retire. I'll advocate for council policies that provide opportunity, dignity and safety for all.
