TRLIN Josh

My principal place of residence is in the Northern/Pukerua ki te Raki Ward area.

Kia ora! My name is Josh Trlin and I'm a Paremata local and a law and commerce graduate currently working at a leading law firm in Wellington.

I'm standing for the Northern Ward/ Pukerua ki te Raki because the issues that face our community are too urgent to wait. Far too often the most difficult problems are set aside in the too-hard basket. Issues like the climate, housing, and mental health crises need meaningful action right now.

We need a bold and comprehensive strategy to future proof Porirua against the climate crisis.

We need to preserve and restore the harbour, our greatest environmental taonga.

We need to prioritise investment in core infrastructure.

We need to prepare for the many challenges of tomorrow, today.

Let's throw away the too-hard basket and foster a resilient, thriving community built on the values of fairness, kindness, and solidarity.
