POINTON Jude

My principal place of residence is in the Western/Titahi Rangituhi Porirua ki te uru Ward area.

I want to work for you as an independent Western Ward councillor.

I am Jude Pointon (Barlow).  I was born in Porirua.  Grew up in Mana.  I live in Titahi Bay with my husband and three children.

I work at Titahi Bay North School. Our children attend Titahi Bay School and Titahi Bay Intermediate.

This is the third time I have stood for Porirua City Council.

I will use my communication and analytical skills to make council processes more transparent.  I am a team player who asks the hard questions.

Porirua residents deserve a voice in guiding the future of our city.  Council must focus on the basics: water & sewerage, rubbish, roading and the environment.

I am a community-minded person.  I have proven this over decades via my journalism, teaching and volunteering.  Working for you on Porirua City Council is another way I can help our city and people.
