My principal place of residence is in the Porirua City area. I am also standing for Mayor, Porirua City Council.
It's been a privilege to serve as your trustee for the last six years. We've put the trust on a more secure footing for the future by ensuring the $43 million of community assets is properly managed.
Our aim is to grow these assets over time so our communities can benefit from grants and support for generations to come.
Here in Porirua we have supported local community and sporting groups to do their work without complex funding applications. We've also supported important work that warms homes to reduce preventable illnesses in children. Secondary school students are getting extra support from the trust to gain their driver licences.
I've been proud to ensure the trust contributed to the Mary Potter Hospice campus at Ranui and to recently support Titahi Bay School's new artificial turf.
