We have great opportunities to enhance our city, but our council needs some new blood and expertise to keep Porirua moving. I'd be committed as a councillor to being a team player working to
improve our way of life. Getting better value for our rates, means pursuing more realistic goals and ensuring basic services like roading, footpaths, local libraries, sports fields and 3-waters get the highest priority.
COVID has shown us that we can do things differently. We can support and grow our small to medium businesses to increase local Porirua jobs. We must also continue to work to improve the health of our harbour. Our council can better assist, without getting in the way.
We need a safer and more secure city. Porirua people are entitled to feel safe in their homes and in our neighbourhoods.
