As a husband to Naomi, and father to three beautiful children, Petrina, Eve and Solofa, I know how important it is to make good decisions for our future generations because what we do today impacts on their wellbeing and resilience tomorrow. I'm putting my hand up to represent the best interests for the Onepoto-Eastern Ward and Porirua City as a whole. I believe that our strength as a City is not fully-realised. We as a city, should expect nothing less than the best and I am committed to doing just that. No one single issue Council debates on is any more important than the other because they are all interconnected, rates, 3-waters, roading, the harbour, children and youth, accessibility, inequalities and he tangata - the people. I bring my lived experience of all these things as a proud resident of the best city in Aotearoa.
