My principal place of residence is not in the Onepoto General Ward area.
I have loved serving Porirua over the past 9 years as an Eastern Ward councillor and honoured to serve as Deputy Mayor for the past 6 years.
I am very proud to serve our city, live and raise our children here, the city my husband and I were born and raised ourselves.
Last election I campaigned on environmental and recreational spaces; this journey continues with significant investment in these areas. Many years of under investment in our infrastructure have led to tough and sometimes unpopular decisions to move towards future proofing our city.
I would like to continue to be a part of a council serving and future proofing our city for generations to come, whilst always working and advocating on ways to keep rate increases to the least they can be.
