My principal place of residence is in the Pāuatahanui General Ward area.
Experience counts, especially as water and resource management reforms along with major local government changes are on the immediate horizon for Porirua. We need a mix of people like myself who can ask the hard questions, hold the organisation to account, and also bring common sense to the table.
I have shown that I am prepared to advocate for the community. While standing up against unnecessary spending
I've also been successful in ensuring more investment in those services that allow residents to live their lives.
No matter what happens, I will continue to make sure that we deliver our core services like stormwater, sewerage, roading and footpaths, while ensuring ratepayers get value for money. I'll also promote activities that reinforce the restoration of our wonderful harbour.
