My principal place of residence is not in the Pāuatahanui General Ward area.
There are so many reasons to be proud of living in Porirua. I'm excited about our future.
We must encourage growth and jobs and prioritise the wellbeing of residents. The council must also take a stronger role in advocating for community safety and security. We must invest to protect our harbour and remain focussed on climate change.
The council needs to better control costs and if elected I would question unnecessary spending and rate rises.
My experience includes roles such as President of Kapi Mana Netball and former Executive Director of the Porirua Chamber of Commerce. I now own a fabric import business.
Three generations of my family live locally and I raised my children in Paremata and Plimmerton. We are invested.
