My principal place of residence is in the Northern/Pukerua ki te Raki Ward area.
I'm offering myself as a fresh voice for our council, a committed and balanced candidate, to grow our city.
As an active member of the community I narrowly missed out on a spot around the council table 3 years ago. I have stayed well involved locally as a member of the Whitby Residents Association, administrating the Whitby Community facebook page, and as a manager at New World Whitby, I am connected to whats happening on the ground everyday.
There is no doubt our city faces some tough challenges, with large infrastructure costs looming and threatening to increase our already high rates. I'm young and energetic and understand we need to use ratepayers money wisely, especially with Transmission Gully and Climate Change as key issues to our future.
Growing up here and educated at Aotea College, I would be privileged to represent you.
