My principal place of residence is in the Western/Titahi Rangituhi Porirua ki te uru Ward area. I am also standing for the Mayor-Porirua City Council.

I'm a retired journalist so I have time to give council my full attention. My wife Christine and I are long-time residents of the Bay. Our 6 children are grown up and all have families around Porirua City.
A team player, I am approachable, a good listener and I make myself available to all.
I stand for maintaining the strict hold council has had on rates rises in the face of huge challenges and the exponential growth surge we are on the brink of. All the while preparing for the effects of climate change and working to clean up the harbour and increase the resilience of our infrastructure.
