Porirua City Council is always happy to hear from you. We welcome suggestions, feedback and ideas from all our community members, and endeavour to join the conversation where possible. Please be aware sometimes we are not able to reply individually to all the messages we receive via social media.

Social media is a public forum, and we ask you to look after yourself. Please consider this when posting, especially regarding personal information.  If you are reporting a problem, please don’t give your full details until we are talking one to one.

We generally update and monitor our social media accounts during office hours, Monday to Friday. If you are requesting a service on social media, we suggest you to contact us by phone or email. This will help us to respond to your request more effectively. If you require an immediate response, please call us on 04 237 5089.
