Noise complaints

You can report a problem using our 24/7 noise control response service. Call us on (04) 237 5089 for urgent noise issues.

Stray or lost animals

If you spot an animal that looks lost – or not where it should be – please get in touch with us.

Public toilets

If you find a problem with our public toilets, like vandalism, blockages, cleanliness and maintenance, please tell us about it.

Animal & insect pests

Let's face it, some animals and pests can be hōhā. If there are bees, wasps, or vermin in our public land, parks, and reserves, get in touch and we'll sort it out.

Dumped rubbish

We work hard to make sure public areas are kept free of rubbish and hazardous waste. Please let us know if something needs our attention.

Graffiti & tagging

If you see graffiti or tagging in a public place, please inform the Police and let us know so we can get rid of it.

Streets & roads

If you see a pothole, damage or hazards on a road, report it to us and we’ll take care of it.

Street lights

Please report any issues with streetlights – such as lights not working, flickering, left on during the day, obscured by trees – so we can get them fixed asap.

Tracks & walkways

Check out our list of tracks and walkways that are closed or have restricted access. Please respect the warning signs and do not put yourself in danger.

Water problems

Let us know immediately if you notice any problems with stormwater, water supply or sewerage in our city or any pollution problems.
