My principal place of residence is in the Porirua City Council area.

You know me. I don’t sugarcoat things. The past few years have been tough. Costs are rising, Porirua families are under pressure. Councils like ours need to cut our cloth, do more with less, without compromising what really matters to our community.
That’s why I’m standing again: to keep doing the work, without the spin.
I’ve focused on the essentials: fixing pipes, restoring our harbour, and planting over 250,000 trees to protect our environment. As water reform continues, I’ll keep fighting for value for money and to replace our ageing networks.
I know how hard it is when rates go up. That’s why I’ve backed responsible budgets and kept rises lower than others. I’m open to a balanced cap on rates that still protects vital services.
Porirua is strong, proud, and full of potential. It’s an honour to serve as your Mayor. Please support me for another term.

Porirua needs strong, accountable leadership that delivers better value for money and genuine transparency. As a proud seventh-generation local raising the eighth, I believe Porirua should be a place where everyone - no matter how long they've been here - can afford to live, thrive, and be heard.
Over the past three years on Council, I’ve stood up for residents, demanded transparency, and challenged wasteful spending. With a background in business, finance, and community housing, I bring the practical skills to manage money, work with people, and get things done.
If elected as Mayor, I’ll lead a full review of Council’s future budget to drive smarter spending and cut waste.

I am a former policy analyst, public servant, adult educator and advisor. I am a teacher, and a creative living and working in Porirua. I am a mother, and a grandmother. My whānau is diverse with some having lived here for generations and others for sixty years.
It is time for change. I am committed to making our community better through, transparency, responsible stewardship, and inclusive decision-making.
Together, let’s safeguard and promote our local people, their initiatives, businesses, and environment. Let’s collaborate on innovative ways to reduce high costs in these tough economic times. Let’s make positive change for everyone in Porirua. Your voice matters.
