The Motorcycle Collective is offering the chance to get your motorcycle road-ready, with a bike night at Te Rauparaha Arena on 9 October.
The organisation is hosting the free event from 5.30pm and is encouraging everyone with two wheels and a motor to head along. There will be guest speakers, free pizza and coffee, a helmet giveaway, and other prizes up for grabs. You can also learn about the Ride Forever initiative and get heavily discounted rider training.
For more information contact Porirua City Council's road safety co-ordinator, Paulette Pavelich, at [email protected] or check out the Collective's website: motorcyclecollective.org.nz
The group have regular get-togethers in Upper Hutt, Wellington and Tawa, with the aim being a chance to hang out and meet like-minded motorcyclists, along with getting advice on maintenance, repairs and places to ride.
