A heritage trail guided tour is one event in the festival.
This year’s Wellington Heritage Festival includes a variety of Porirua events for those curious about peeking into the city’s past.
Organised by the Wellington Heritage Festival Trust and the Rotary Clubs of Greater Wellington, the festival runs 18 October to 9 November with Porirua events either free to attend or requiring a koha (donation).
Events are happening across Porirua at the City Centre Library, Pātaka Art + Museum, our cemeteries, Te Rauparaha Arena, and along Te Awarua-o-Porirua Heritage Trail.
