The sun shone and the crowds came out with their picnics to enjoy free live music over four nights during Wellington Anniversary weekend.
This year’s Summer Concert Series featured local groups The Blueprint, The Beatgirls, Shaun Preston, and The Shenanigans playing on the pop-up stage at Aotea Lagoon’s rose gardens.
The live shows have become a staple in Porirua’s summer events calendar. It was a great chance for people of all ages to come together and enjoy fantastic live music while letting their hair down for a boogie.
Thank you to everyone who came to the concerts, plus all the wonderful musicians who entertained the crowds, along with the face painters and the coffee and ice cream trucks!
