Due to erosion near part of Te Ara Piko pathway, specifically between Pāuatahanui and Motukaraka Point, contractors and Council need to carry out works there for a time.
Due to restrictions from Greater Wellington Regional Council, this part of the pathway needs to be closed while the work is done, and is unlikely to re-open until early November.
People can still walk between the Grays Road car park and Motukaraka Point during the partial closure. The Camborne Walkway is unaffected.
We apologise for any inconvenience and can't wait to have this section of Te Ara Piko open again in time for summer.
