The Porirua and Whitby skateparks are due to receive a tidy up.
Soon our team will carry out some maintenance to keep these spaces safe, smooth, and enjoyable for everyone.
The tagging makes the surface slippery so it makes it hard for locals to skate at their best, and has also been tricky for our City Services crew to keep on top of. We will be removing problematic graffiti and carrying out other repairs where we can.
We’ll work to minimise disruption as the maintenance takes place and will share updates on dates as soon as they’re locked in.
