We want to make it easier and safer for pedestrians and cyclists to get through and around the city. Longer term we’re planning to create a shared path from Kenepuru Landing to the city centre to encourage people to walk and cycle along the most accessible route to the city centre. Work will also improve the route for railway station users going to and from the city centre. The footpath will be widened, new lighting, seating and planting will be installed making the area more attractive and user friendly.
