Sunday, 5 March promises to be a day full of fun, laughter and creativity in Porirua as we celebrate Te rā o ngā Tamariki/ Children's Day.
The day is all about supporting and nurturing our tamariki, honouring their mana and putting them first. What better way to celebrate Children’s Day than with a free event at Ngati Toa Domain packed to the brim with fun?
Come and join us! It'll be a full of fun and childlike wonder where we can celebrate and spend time with our tamariki.
Event Information
The Events team will have an information tent set up near the entrance to the field. Come and see the team for any activity queries, lost or found property, sunscreen or just to say hi!
Tamariki wristbands
Sometimes tamariki can be so excited about all the activities that they get lost from their whānau at an event. The Event information tent will have wristbands on offer for parents/caregivers to write their contact details on their child’s wristband so if they get lost during the event, we can contact the right people right away! Come and see the Events team when you arrive to enquire about the wristband process.
