1. Integrate the management of Arnold Park with the South Beach playground.
   
   
2. Protect natural values by implementing the findings and recommendations relevant to Arnold Park in the following detailed plans:
   • Titahi Bay Beach Reserves Management Plan 2008
   • Titahi Bay Beach Restoration Plan 2011
   • Titahi Bay Beach Management Natural Systems Action Plan 2010
   • Titahi Bay Beach landscape and Pathways Concept Plan 2010 and 2013 (in preparation).
   
   
3. Ensure that amenity planting uses non-invasive species.
   
   
4. Encourage active children's play by providing a wide range of natural and built play opportunities, including safe structures, pathways and natural features. Actively monitor and manage cliff recreation to minimise safety hazards.
   
   
5. Enable easy and safe enjoyment of the beach and reserves by providing car parking, toilets and other appropriate visitor amenities throughout, including amenity plantings for shade and shelter. Develop entrances at South Beach.
   
   
6. Maintain a liquor ban throughout the reserve.
   
   
7. Prohibit off-road use of vehicles.
   
   
8. Prohibit dogs from the South Beach Playground.
