- Protect the natural landscape and lookout values, by controlling vegetation and maintaining grassed open spaces, and through cautious management of structures and land disturbance.
- Encourage casual recreation by improving the amenity values of the lookout. Enhance amenity by developing the pathway, and by providing facilities that support landscape appreciation, such as seating or interpretive signage.
- Prohibit telecommunication facilities.
