Outcomes sought1. Protect the natural values and wetland, through animal and plant pest control, by enabling natural regeneration and by undertaking further planting as funding opportunities allow. Protect wetland values from contaminants through careful land management. Investigate options for biodiversity restoration work in the reserve.
2. Improve casual recreation in the reserve by investigating opportunities for a walkway link to Bradey’s Bay. Continue to provide an amenity bush landscape, the Quarterdeck lookout grassed open space, walking opportunities and supporting amenity facilities.
3. Protect reserve-to-reserve, street-to-street, and walking connections to Pauatahanui Inlet.
4. Retain Dog Exercise Area.
5. Resolve encroachment.
