The next instalment of our city’s rates is due on 19 February and this is a friendly reminder to keep that deadline in mind. The last thing we want is for you to have to pay anything extra.
When
rates are paid late we have to add 10 percent to cover the costs of following
up on missed payments. But if you pay on time you can avoid extra cost.
To make it easier, you can spread your rates payments over the year. If paying by direct debit you can choose to pay weekly, fortnightly, monthly or by instalment.
If you get your rates invoice by email you go in a quarterly draw for a $350 rates credit, and if you also pay by direct debit you could win another $150 credit on top of this.
