After a review of our Transport Bylaw in late 2021, vehicles are no longer allowed on Titahi Bay Beach, other than for launching boats or unloading items at a boatshed. This decision was made to improve safety for all beach users.
To help make sure these restrictions are followed, from 7 March 2022 the beach gates will be kept locked – with access made available to boatshed owners and boaties.
The criteria for issuing access is available here, along with a form to complete. Please download the form, fill it in and either bring it into Council or email to [email protected]
You can drive to your boatshed to load or unload items, then you need to park your car somewhere other than the beach.
