Te Pahi, Community school bus

Te Pahi – Porirua City’s Community School Bus is a free service that transports students from low decile schools to educational and sporting activities within Porirua and the wider Wellington region.

All decile one to five schools in Porirua are eligible to apply. Te Pahi is available for: transport to curriculum linked educational or sporting activities
travel beyond walking distance of the school and within the Wellington region during school hours (9am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday)
a maximum of 39 students plus 10 standing adults per trip.
Bookings are processed on a first in first served basis up to a maximum of five trips per school per term
Cancellations need to be communicated to Porirua City and Mana Coach Services at least the day before your booking. If the cancellation is due to weather this needs to be communicated by 7am the day of the booking. Porirua City reserves the right to forward cancellation charges to the school if they are not made in a timely manner.
