The Independent Hearings Panel has issued its decisions on the Proposed District Plan and recommendations on Variation 1 to the Proposed District Plan and Plan Change 19 to the Operative District Plan (Variation 1 and PC19 are the Council’s Intensification Planning Instrument).
These were considered by the Council at its meeting on the 30th November 2023 where it agreed with all recommendations.

Corrections to submission tables
Due to an error made at the time of collating the reports and appendices, several submission points were omitted from Appendix 2 to reports 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B and 6A in the published PDP decision reports. Please note that all of these submission points were considered by Council Officers in their s42A recommendation reports and evidence, and by the Hearings Panel in the course of their deliberations. The initial omission of these submission points therefore has no bearing on the Council’s decisions on the PDP.
