Battle Hill Forest Park is very popular horse riding destination and Belmont Regional Park encompasses the hills between Porirua and Hutt Valley, and is a favourite destination for walkers, mountain bikers, and horse riders.
Kākāriki Stables, operating since 2020, is a small, safe and friendly horse riding school, 5 minutes from Pāuatahanui. A fantastic place to learn to ride, Kākāriki Stables offers instructions to people of all ages.
