Markets

Whether you love tasty eats, fresh veggies, or artisan delights Porirua City has a market for everybody.

Cobham Court Farmers Market

Managers of the Cobham Court Farmers Market have asked for the market to be suspended over the winter months due to the deteriorating weather, and we have agreed. We appreciate their work in developing the market to date and will review next steps with them later in the year.  Some of the businesses previously involved in the market are keen to keep trading in our city centre. They will be using our new Porirua Business Pop Up space to sell on a Saturday.  There'll be several craft stalls and food providers.

If you want to be involved or want more information about the market, contact Derek Rolls by email on derekrolls@gmail.com.

Porirua Night Market

The Porirua Night Market is held on the last Thursday of every month from 5 pm-9 pm rain or shine, in Cobham Court, Porirua.

The Wellington Food Truck Collective will satisfy your taste buds with a menu of meals from around the globe, including Turkish, Malaysian, Greek Cypriot and Japanese.

We provide fun, family entertainment which ranges from DJs, musicians and performers.
Kids activities are also an important part of the line-up. We often have celebratory themes depending on the time of year to make your time eating out in the city centre lots of fun.

Porirua Saturday Market, Waitangirua

This market is located at the Waitangirua Mall carpark, and is open from 4 am to 12 noon on Saturday mornings all the year round with the exceptions of ANZAC Day and Christmas Day when it falls on a Saturday.

The market is busy and popular with strong Polynesian and Asian flavour - ethnic food, bric-a-brac, clothing, fresh produce, Pacific Island crafts. Popular and traditional Pacific Island music as well as current tunes from several stalls.

Admission is free and there is a small charge for stalls. Proceeds go back into the community.
