Our behaviours

Our three behaviours guide all Council kaimahi in their day-to-day work. They describe how we need to act to be successful in delivering the best outcomes for our community now and in the future.

Our kaimahi look for ways to do things better, use their skills to get things done and work together to make a difference.

Whakakotahi – mā te mahi tahi e puta ai he hua ki tō tātou hapori
Team up – Together we make a difference for our community

Mahi Atamai
– Ka whakapātari i a tātou anō kia pai ake ai ngā hua
Work smart – We challenge ourselves to do things better

Whakatinanatia
– mā te whakapeto ngoi, me ngā pūkenga e tutuki ai ngā whāinga.
Make it happen – We use our energy and skills to get things done
